Good Morning Royal Oak
, and Happy Last Day of Classes!

The grade 8 farewell
was a lot of fun and a great celebration to finish your time at Royal Oak. Thank you to Mr. Kerry Steinemann for the amazing beach scene backdrop for pictures, and Thank you to Mr. Tony Olive from Lifetouch for taking pictures. Watch our website for a link to the grad pictures. We all wish you well as you move on to your new schools in September.

Today is your last day of classes for the school year, and it will be a day to clean out your lockers, check the lost & found, and generally wrap-up the school year. If you have handed in an Early Dismissal form, you have permission to leave at 11:15. Please make sure you have handed in your forms to your teacher.  If you are planning to stay the full day and take the bus home, please let us know at the office.

Students are reminded to pick up woodworking projects before the Summer break. Items not picked up today will be recycled. Please see Mr Collier before you leave today.

In order to tidy up our recycling before the end of the school year – please clean classroom recycling towers, compost containers and blue drink box conatiners and place them outside room 231 on the blue floor today.  The outside compost bins have been removed.  The only recyling left in the building is paper recycling. Thanks for continuing to keep our school garbage free.

Please check Lost & Found – unclaimed items will be sent to a charitable organization.

All medications will be returned to students today.
